NEW VIDEO ON MY CHANNEL!! Some swatches and a review of the new @rimmellondonau Rita Ora collection! Link in my bio go check it out :) #nails #nailart #nailpolish #swatches #swatch #review #notd #youtube #youtubevideo #youtubetutorial
Well as if my day couldn’t get any worse I broke my painting hand thumb nail :( other than the video I filmed today it looks like I’ll only be painting four of my nails. I should still be able to show you all super cute designs :) #nails #nailart #nailpolish #brokennail
I am shocked that people think just because you did a sort of nail art first does not mean people copied you everytime. I’ve never seen every nail account online so if I do something similar does not mean I copied it even seen their account. Please people make sure you politely ask before assuming someone has copied you. It saves a lot of time. #nails #nailart #nailpolish #nailsofinsta #nailofinstagram
Then and now. The left picture was me 2 long years ago. I wasn’t born with talent it took me years to learn this art and I’m still learning every day. You can get better practice makes perfect :) #nails #nailart #nailpolish #thenandnow #transformation #nailarttransformation #nailartthenandnow #oldandnew

Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure Review + Swatches Hi lovlies today I’ve got some swatches and a review of the Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure line. I also have a video on my YouTube channel which I will link at the end. I was sent some of the polishes by Sally Hansen to review for you guys but I was not forced to do this review and nor was I told what to say. So with all that out of the way let’s get started. The first colour is 170 – Pink Slip. A very cute milky pink colour. Unfortunately this colour is quite streaky even with two coats. It is a very sheer colour and would look great for a French manicure if you know how to make streaky formula work.     Next is the colour 510 – I Pink I Can. A medium pink colour great for spring. It is opaque in 3 thin coats but can be streaky in the first two coats. This colour looks great in spring and is a great addition to any cute outfit.   Next is 330 – Pedal To The Metal. A gorgeous purple metallic polish. So cute for the up and coming cold months here in Australia.  The metallic finish is so beautiful and a great stand out feature. Completely opaque in three thin coats, a must have polish.     Next is 320 – Rasin The Bar. Another metallic finish polish with a cute cooper undertone. Another polish great for the up and coming colder months, completely opaque in three thin coats. This one is another must have.   Next on the list is 570 – Right Said Red. A cute jelly finish red which reminds of an NYC scene. Completely opaque in three thin coats and another polish good for the colder months. This is another must have polish, as most any reds are.     Next is 640 – Plum Luck. A deep berry/plum colour which again is great for the up and coming season. I am in love with this colour and it’s completely opaque in two thin coats. If you could pick any berry polish this would have to be it.      And last but certainly not least is 121 – Golden Rule. I’ve seen this polish all over YouTube and I just had to have it. It’s a dense but finely milled glitter which could be completely opaque in 4 thin coats. This is another staple polish.   All in all these polishes are A+++. They last a super long time as long as you remember to seal them with a top coat and apply a good base coat. I love that they continue to release new colours depending on the seasons. The colour range is huge as it is and they have many colours that stay around all year. The colour payoff is amazing and the different finishes are also great. The drying time is fast and also dries very shiny. The polishes have a RRP of $14.95 AUD but can often be found on sale for a steal. They can be found at Priceline, Priceline Pharmacies, Target, Kmart, Terry White Chemists, Chemist Warehouse, Good Price Pharmacies and Independent Pharmacies nationally. I believe these polishes are worth the money as they last a long time and have great colour pay off.   Disclaimer- All opinions are 110% my own, I will always give you my honest opinion what’s fun in stealing someone else’s?

Battle of the Base Coats Hi Everyone, Today I’m going to do a battle of the base coats. In one corner we have OPI’s Nail Envy Maintenance and in the other corner is Essie’s Grow Stronger. I will be ranking them on price, bottle size, formula, colour, how effective it is and my thoughts. 5 stars means Good/Satisfactory and 1 star means Bad/Unsatisfactory. OPI’s Nail Envy Maintenance Price -   I bought my bottle online for $22 which did include postage, in my local area they don’t sell OPI’s base coats instore. Online you can find it fairly cheap but the shipping does up the price a little bit. In stores it can be very expensive depending where you get it, drug store or salon. Bottle Size -  The bottle is 15ml – 0.5 fl oz. Quiet a large bottle for a base coat which is surprising. For the price though it seems just right, so it seems you’re paying for the bottle size. Formula -  It dries super fast, by the time you’ve painted your second hand your first one is dry. It’s very running but once its been used for a while it does get very thick. I normally get through half a bottle and then its thick and takes a while to dry and can become quiet sticky. Colour -  Its clear/pale pink shade. Once its painted on you’re nails it barely has any colour pay off which I love because I love seeing how a polish looks on my bare nails. If you like a base coat with a bit of colour pay of this might not be best for you. Effectiveness -  Quiet honestly I used this product for over a year and didn’t see a change in my nails at all. It did keep yellowing away but to stop my nails from peeling and breaking it didn’t work at all. I thought if I stuck at it, it may work over time but honestly I haven’t seen a difference. Thoughts –  This base coat has big pro’s and con’s which can really out way each other. Personally I stopped using this product because it didn’t do what it claims to do. All round I give it 2 stars, just because it didn’t make my nails stronger but it did keep the yellowing away. The bottle is large but it does cost quiet a lot. Would I re-purchase? Well I haven’t and I don’t plan to in the near future. Essie’s Grow Stronger Price -  I bought my bottle at my local Priceline Pharmacy for only $14. Normally I’d buy my Essie products online for around $10-$20. I think the price is fairly reasonable for a strengthening base coat. Bottle Size -  Again this base coat is 15ml – 0.5 fl oz. For the price the bottle is large which I love. It takes me a while to go through a base coat so I love how big this bottle is. Formula -  The formula is so thin but it does take a bit to dry no matter how thin the coat is. The smell is horrible, way worse than Nail Envy.  All in all the smell and consistency out way each other. Colour -  The colour is clear/pale pink and the pay off is minimal again. If you like some colour this is probably not the best for you again. Effectiveness -  After a month of using the product my nails are 10x stronger. I was so surprised how much stronger my nails have got. The pealing stopped almost instantly and shocked me. I’ve always had weak nails but this product changed my nails completely. Thoughts -  This product blew my mind. I price was reasonable and the bottle is large also. The formula is great and is quiet thin. The smell is horrible but if you apply it in a well ventilated area this shouldn’t be a issue. I am so glad I picked this up because it has done my nails a world of good. I haven’t experienced any yellowing either which I find amazing also. All together I’m in love with this product, worth the buy and I will re-purchase it. All in all the product that wins this battle is Essie’s Grow Stronger Base Coat. Feel free to leave you’re comments and experiences below I’d love to hear your thoughts. The Polish Addiction

Battle of the Base Coats

Hi Everyone,
Today I’m going to do a battle of the base coats. In one corner we have OPI’s Nail Envy Maintenance and in the other corner is Essie’s Grow Stronger. I will be ranking them on price, bottle size, formula, colour, how effective it is and my thoughts.

Battle of the base coats

5 stars means Good/Satisfactory and 1 star means Bad/Unsatisfactory.

OPI’s Nail Envy Maintenance

Price -   I bought my bottle online for $22 which did include postage, in my local area they don’t sell OPI’s base coats instore. Online you can find it fairly cheap but the shipping does up the price a little bit. In stores it can be very expensive depending where you get it, drug store or salon.
